INTA’s 2018 Annual Meeting arrives in Seattle

From next Saturday, May 19 and until Wednesday, May 23, the 140th INTA Annual Meeting will be held in the United States. More than 10,600 trademark owners and intellectual property professionals from 150 countries will gather in Seattle, Washington. VERA ABOGADOS will have the participation of Carolina Vera Matiz and Natalia Vera Matiz.

The Annual Meeting, as always, will have a large number of courses, meetings, receptions and conferences on different topics of current world IP. We highlight some sessions: Brand and IP departments in multinationals, the importance of psychology in the mediation between parties, the new electronic commerce law in China, the production and commercialization of counterfeit products in free zones, the reality of trademark rights in Africa, geographical indications in the space of domain names and product placement in film and television, among other events of interest.
